Charles T. Edens was born in Sumter, South Carolina, and is a graduate of Clemson University with B.A. and Master’s Degrees in Agriculture. Married with three children and four grandchildren, he has served on the Sumter County Council since 1999, completing certification courses for County Officials and graduating twice from the S.C. Economic Development School.
