About

Jacob Powell was first elected the District 5 Council Member in December 2020. He moved to Baytown in 2008 for an internship and returned in 2011 after graduating from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Goose Creek CISD Education Foundation and CASA, and is employed as a Power Distribution Engineer at Covestro.
