Representative Josh Acevedo was born and raised in the Five Points neighborhood of Central El Paso and has dedicated his career to public service. A four-time graduate of UTEP, he previously served on the El Paso Independent School District Board of Trustees from 2019 to 2024 before being elected to the City Council.
