Council Member Robert "Rob" Boettcher was elected to Sugar Land City Council as the At-Large Position 2 representative in June 2025. A Sugar Land resident since 2014, Rob and his family chose to make the city their home because of its exceptional quality of life, strong neighborhoods, and family-friendly community. Rob brings more than a decade of engineering experience in the energy industry and currently serves as a Senior Engineer with Schlumberger.
