My experience living in a refugee camp in the Philippines after fleeing a communist country shaped the person I am today. Those challenging years taught me resilience, compassion, and the importance of standing up for others. They inspired me to become a dedicated advocate for our residents and to work tirelessly on the issues that matter most to them.
