Mayor Michael D. “Mike” Duman was elected to the Suffolk City Council on November 2, 2010, and was sworn in on January 3, 2011, as the representative for the Chuckatuck Borough. He was reelected in November 2014 and November 2018. He was elected Mayor in November 2020 and reelected in November 2024 for an additional term.
