Council Member Timothy Jett "Tim" Johnson was born in 1955 in Suffolk, Virginia, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Ornamental Horticulture from Virginia Polytechnic Institute in 1978. He owns and operates Johnson's Gardens Inc., and has been involved with the Suffolk Lions Club, Paul D. Camp Community College, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Boards, Boy Scouts of America, and the Suffolk Community Gardens Project. He was elected to the Suffolk City Council in November 2014, representing the Holy Neck Borough, and his term expires on December 31, 2026.
