Councilmember Brad Klippert, who has called Kennewick home for 26 years, has previously served 14 years as a member of the Washington State House of Representatives. A retired U.S. Army veteran, he served more than 30 years in the military and 20 years as a helicopter pilot. He is currently a Benton County sheriff’s deputy and has served as a firefighter/paramedic. Klippert said he ran for city council to support smart, responsible growth while preserving what makes our community unique.
